It’s been a while, but we thought you ought to know just what Big Vern the Shootahs have been up to;

we’ve been working hard in the studio to introduce new funky tunes to the   set list – and we have some surprises in store!!

we have been measured up for our new suits.  A new look and some bespoke threads for 2010. Thanks to Steven Purvis, we’ll be revealing all soon!!

We’ve had our AGM (honest, it was a meeting and not a wild night out…)

Work is almost complete on a DVD of our history over the last 20 years

The last thing we need to do is arrange our ‘own shows’ for 2010 and we hope to announce a mini-tour for this Autumn.  In the meantime we will be performing at a number of charity events and parties over the next few months.  Keep checking back for updates about where you can buy tickets for Big Vern shows at a town hopefully near you.  Don’t forget you can follow Big Vern n the Shootahs on Facebook and Twitter and we’ll keep you updated with all the latest news asap.  Love n stuff, the Big Vern boys xx

Big Vern  play many memorable gigs throughout the year, as the most sought after showband in Scotland.

Most notable recently was our 20th anniversary concert at the Classic Grand in Glasgow. Not only was the venue packed out, but we enjoyed possibly our best gig for many years.  It was an emotional night, and a successful one too, as we raised money for our favourite Motor Neuron Disease charity.  A huge thanks to all who were part of this event.
