We’ve updated our diary to let you know were we will be this forthcoming festive season, shows in Hamilton, Greenock, Glasgow (The Ferry), Aberdeen and finishing in Largs.  It’ll be a bit hot and sweaty, but we hope you’ll be able to join us, Big Vern boys xx

As usual, December is going to be our busiest month of the year.  In addition to other bookings, we are playing a public gig at The Ferry, on Boxing Day, Monday 26th December, and we’d love you and your friends to come. The boys are besides themselves in anticipation of the world famous (in Lanarkshire) annual Ladies Night at Hamilton Park Racecourse, Saturday 30th July.  This is one event where the Big Vern shades definitely help the boys from being distracted by such a gorgeous audience.

We plan to make it one of the highlights of the year, with a raucous set guaranteed to get everyone dancing.  Bring your comfy stilettoes ladies.

For the very first time, Big Vern’n'the Shootahs are to play special surprise gig in Coatbridge! As a smaller, more intimate venue, the boys will be playing all your favourites as well as debuting some fantastic new songs.

This brilliant venue, upstairs from the main bar, has a capacity of around 150, so make sure you get there early, or buy your tickets in advance.

Saturdays are always packed at Big Owen’s, and Big Vern fully intend to raise the roof! Make sure you wear your dancing shoes.

The band had a fantastic night, playing this year’s Marie Curie Great Daffodil Ball.  We’re sure no-one has failed to notice the daffodil lapel badges being sold in every shop on behalf of Marie Curie Cancer Care.  We are very proud to be associated with this very worthy cause, and worthwhile fundraising event.
